This is always a great adventure of a fall race... gorgeous scenery and waterways, beautiful colleges, and great racing. Plus you never know if it will be freezing and sunny, blustery and pouring rain, or something in the middle. Our own Lake Merced prepares you well.

Which SI Athletes are attending?

MEN - The Boys are hoping to send 21 athletes this year. The lion's share (Wildcat's share?) will be made up of more experienced guys, with the potential for a couple of the newest novice guys.

We have submitted applications for a Youth Eight+, a U-17 Eight, and two Youth Fours+. About a fourth of the athletes will be racing twice (I can hear those boys' cries of joy all the way out here at my perch in a local coffee shop). Applications? Yes. This is an application-based race, so I will let folks know once our entries have been accepted.

We have lineups in mind and entered already, but will adjust over the next week or so. We will let you know shortly who is attending, and in which boats.

WOMEN - We are are sending 20 athletes this year. Our two Travel Team boats, along with two spare rowers.
